What was still a pretty nerdy niche topic a few years ago is now almost unthinkable without: podcasts can be found on all popular audio streaming services on an unspeakable number of topics. And by now, there is hardly anyone who doesn’t make a podcast themselves or has at least tried it once.
But that’s not the reason why we are now producing one ourselves!
Let’s first take a look at the general facts about podcasts:
- According to a study by Bitkom, podcasts are a very popular medium: 43% of Germans tune in regularly — and 76% of them even prefer podcasts over reading.
- Podcasts are one of the few formats that allow for reach building outside of the own community.
- Podcasts create a much stronger personal connection between listeners and creators — because it feels like a direct conversation.
- In a podcast episode, much more and, above all, more detailed information can be conveyed than in a written post.
And that’s exactly why we’re doing a podcast now:
Because what really makes us experts in our field is, above all, our network of experts. Talking to them gives us the opportunity to share deep insights and important know-how with a broad audience. Therefore, we have a lot to share — so much that it would simply be too much for this blog or LinkedIn. Through our podcast, we have the chance to dig deeper into these topics. And we can’t wait to do just that!
